The caliber of acting required to make “Wanted” could have been provided by the underpaid stunt doubles. So what are Her Ladyship Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy and Terence Stamp (also in “Get Smart”) doing in this mashup?

The latest example of superviolent, CG-action-movie-video-game-cum-death-metal, “Wanted” is bound by some poor souls to be compared to “The Matrix.” But “The Matrix” at least had the brains to rip off its plot from sci-fi visionary Philip K. Dick. “Wanted” plagiarizes half its plotline from that dorkfest fantasy-adventure unclassic “Highlander.”

DOH!  I am totally looking forward to seeing this flick too.

The Wright Brothers

We went to "Holiday Nights" at Greenfield Village this year and had a great time.  We haven't been in at least 5 years so it seemed like a new experience again.  We toured the Wright Brother's house and workshop.  The house was decorated for Christmas and looked fabulous.  Our tour guide for the museum part of the workshop said that the brothers weren't even sure that they got the shot of the plane's first flight until after they got home.  They were pleasantly surprised when they discovered they got the shot and that it was a great shot as well.

This is a hoot!  The fact that this screwdriver doesn't really do any of the things that Dr. Who's can is irrelevant.

My son bought his sister some creatures called Triassic Triops for Christmas.  So far they are pretty cool.  Kind of like prehistoric sea monkeys.  Not as cool looking as these guys though.

Yup, its true.  More than likely your Grandma had sex before marrying your Grandpa, although it was probably with your Grandpa that this happened.  I know this to be true in my family - even though it isn't something that is talked about.  I blame TV and movies for making us think things were different back then.  People were just more apt to get married, cover it up and take responsibility back then.
